Founded in 1990, our team pioneered the first Gas Catalytic Infrared System for curing powder coat on MDF cabinetry. Over the past 35 years, we’ve remained at the forefront of gas catalytic infrared innovation, delivering proven solutions and earning multiple patents along the way. It’s been an incredible journey- and we remain committed to advancing sustainable, high-performance industrial heating technologies.

Like our equipment, our name has evolved over time. Originally known as Vulcan Catalytic™ of Rhode Island. In 2014, we entered a strategic partnership to form Heraeus-Vulcan Gas Catalytic Infrared™. Forward to 2023- with the opening of our new manufacturing facility in Dublin, GA, we decided to modernize our company branding to VULCAN IR Systems™.

Our decades-long dedication to quality and client-focused service has earned the trust of leading global manufacturers, industrial finishers, fabricators, and thermoforming professionals. Every custom solution we engineer is built to meet- and exceed the rigorous demands of modern manufacturing. While our name has evolved, our commitment to customer support has never changed. We remain the only authorized team for sales, service, OEM parts, and training for all Vulcan Catalytic™, Heraeus-Vulcan Gas Catalytic Infrared™, and new VULCAN™ IR System equipment.
